NOTAMs over ACARS

The pilot can at request and receive NOTAM (NOTice to AirMen) information over ACARS. The NOTAMs are obtained from the RODOS database. They are printed on the cockpit printer. NOTAMS for up to three stations/codes can be requested.

This application allows the pilot to get updated NOTAM information direct into the cockpit. Combined with Weather info (METAR, TAF, SIGMET) and Flightplan also via ACARS & RODOS it dependency on obtaining this info from local ground resources.
